Merry Christmas!

To everyone that reads my blog from all over the world, thank you for following my journey and I want to wish you a very merry Christmas and a special and memorable new year. I hope all your dreams come true in 2012.

Orion visited Santa for the first time recently and I must say, it started out quite well (below). But then Santa had to go and jingle his bells which startled poor Orion, resulting in the picture above heehee. Definitely one for Orion's baby book and for me to show him when he's 20 over with his girlfriend. Mwa ha ha!



Anyway, all the best from me and Santa's little elf :)

Mmm Mmm Good

Orion started eating rice cereal over the last week but you'd think from watching him, he'd been eating it forever! This short little clip was from his second try of rice cereal ever and he already knows what to do with his mouth as the spoon approaches hehe. He definitely loves his rice cereal. I think on Christmas Day, while we're all eating dinner, he's ready for an avocado so we'll get him to try that.

4 Months

Orion,

At 4 months you:

+ Are in the 75th percentile for growth and development
+ Are starting to turn/look at people when they call your name
+ Become entranced at patterns and textures
+ Like it when your dad holds your hand
+ Are starting to try to hold your own bottle
+ Love talking to us and telling us stories in baby talk
+ Love looking at pictures in books and being read to
+ Can hold and shake your rattle
+ Love bath time and being naked (You always know when you're about to have a bath and have a big smile on your face as you're being carried to the tub)
+ Like to pee all over daddy after he takes off your diaper for some strange reason
+ Are so curious to the world around you, love meeting people for the first time and greeting them with a smile
+ Still think the "Ado Ado Ado" song is the best song ever
+ Love animals, especially monkeys and when daddy makes the sound of a "horsey"
+ Can flip over from tummy to back
+ Have a grannie that loves you!!!
